Privacy policy and personal data notice
This page explains in plain words what data of yours we receive when you use aeverion.com, what we use it for, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. It covers this website. The systems we build for our clients (WhatsApp agents, stores, dashboards) have their own policies, addressed to each business's users.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Mateo Camargo, an individual, doing business under the trade name Aeverion.

2. What data we receive and why

What we do not do: we use no analytics and no advertising cookies on this site today, we do not sell your data, and we do not send you mass marketing. If we turn on analytics, it will be an open-source tool running on our own server, and we will update this page first and, where the law requires, ask for your permission.
Please do not send sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, biometrics, children's data), passwords or ID documents through the form or the chat. We do not need them, and answering questions of that kind is always optional.
3. Your authorization
By submitting the form, confirming a booking or writing in the chat, you give us prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes in section 2. You can withdraw it at any time (section 7). This site is not directed at anyone under 18.
4. Who we share data with or entrust it to
Aeverion runs its systems on its own servers. To provide the service we use providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions. They do not use it for their own marketing.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Telegram messaging service: an internal alert reaches us when someone books or writes.
- Artificial-intelligence model provider: processes the text of your chat messages to generate a reply.
- Email service: used to read and answer your messages when we reply by email.
- External booking page: if the chat is unavailable it may offer a link to an external scheduling page, which has its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers are outside Colombia (for example in the United States). By using the form, booking or chat you expressly authorize that international transfer, which is necessary for the service. We share data with authorities only when a law or a valid order requires it.
5. How long we keep your data
- Form messages and contact details: for as long as the business conversation lasts and up to 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Call bookings: up to 24 months after the appointment date.
- Chat conversations: up to 12 months.
- If you become a client, contracting and billing records are kept for the legal accounting and tax periods.
After that we delete or anonymize them, unless a law requires us to keep them.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to our systems, and storage on servers under our control. No system is 100% infallible; if an incident affects you we will tell you and report it to the authority where the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing decrees (now compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015), you have the right to:
- Know what data of yours we process and how, and access it free of charge.
- Update and correct your data.
- Ask for proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed of how we have used your data.
- Withdraw your authorization or request deletion, where there is no legal or contractual duty to keep the data.
- File a complaint with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for breaches of the law, after you have first made your query or claim to us.
How to exercise them: email contact@aeverion.com with the subject "Personal data", giving your name, the email address you used with us and what you want to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer queries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days; if we need more time we tell you why and the new date, within the limits set by law.
8. If you visit from outside Colombia
Although we are a Colombian operation, we apply these basic rules to all visitors.
- European Union / UK / EEA: if the European regulation (GDPR) applies to you, then in addition to the above you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and to withdraw consent at any time, and you may complain to the data protection authority in your country. Our basis for processing is your consent and our legitimate interest in handling your request. Data is processed in Colombia and in the countries of the providers in section 4.
- California and other US states: we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context advertising. You can ask for access, correction or deletion by emailing contact@aeverion.com.
Use the same email as in section 7 to exercise any of these rights.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change something important (new providers, new purposes, analytics) we will update the date and version at the top of this page. Earlier versions are available on request at the contact email.
